Gentle Dhikr Reminders for Mac
Uns is a quiet menu bar companion that reminds you to remember Allah through long hours at your Mac — a short dhikr floats gently across your screen, click‑through, never stealing focus, invisible if you're sharing your screen or on a call.
Most things that can go wrong are covered in the app itself — check Settings → General first (call detection, active hours, and location are all configurable there). The most common questions are answered below.
Does Uns need an internet connection?
No. Uns works entirely offline — prayer times are computed on-device from
your coordinates, and nothing is ever sent anywhere.
Does Uns collect any data?
No. See the Privacy Policy — Uns has no
accounts, no analytics, and makes no network calls at all.
Why does a reminder sometimes not show up?
By design — Uns quietly skips reminders while your microphone or camera is
in use (calls), while your screen is locked, or while you've been away,
so nothing interrupts you. It retries a few minutes later.
